What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect information about users during the membership signup process as well as some basic activities such as the dates they make purchases, login to the site, or cancel/pause/resume their subscriptions with us, order information such as your membership subscriptions, payment dates and amounts, and username / email address.
When you subscribe with us, we’ll ask you to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- — Send you information about your account and subscriptions. This may include payment receipts, password reset emails, and payment reminders.
- — Create your membership account
We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
We accept payments through PayPal and Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal or Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
Arabic Seeds does NOT store full credit card information on our website or on your account. Your credit card information is encrypted and stored with our payment processors, Paypal and Stripe.

Visitor/User comments are checked through an automated spam detection service called Akismet, before being manually approved by us (or deleted if deemed inappropriate for our audience and purposes).
When visitors/users leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyze web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. If you opted-in or signed up on our blog or other pop-up forms on arabicseeds.com, we may periodically send email about our membership, new blog-posts, freebies, resources, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
We use Jetpack and Google Analytics to gather informations about the pages most visited by our users or visitors, the location of our visitors.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
